Our PGA professional is Mr. Craig Bocking. Craig joined the DCC staff in October, 2009. He is quickly establishing a reputation as an excellent teacher of the golf swing. Craig already has several students singing his praises over the rapid improvement in their games.
Craig comes to DCC from Terrapin Hills Country Club in Fort Payne, AL, where he was General Manager as well as head pro. Craig's many duties kept him from playing much golf at his former course. He is currently rebuilding his own game as well as our members' games now that he has more time to play and practice.
Craig is strongly committed to building a strong junior golf program at Decatur Country Club. This program will begin this winter with Wii golf and an introduction to the rules and etiquette of the game, then will move outdoors to on-course instruction in the spring.
