The Women’s Golf Association had their first meeting for the 2010 year February 5. We were excited to have 12 women present as our numbers have been dwindling. We are looking forward to our annual Saint Patrick’s Day Tournament which will actually be held on St. Patrick’s Day this year. This is a FUN tournament for all levels of play. You might even get lucky with some “lenient rules” in this tournament!
We will officially kick our “ladies daze” play off on April 9 with a 9-hole scramble and brunch. We will be giving out our 2010 handbooks at this time.
If anyone is interested in playing Valley Golf please let me or Teresa Culbert know. This is a great way to meet other players and enjoy other courses in our area.
